Independent Glass Co Ltd are one of the UKs leading glass processing manufacturers.
We have a great opportunity for 2 hard working self motivated individuals to join us as part of our cleaning team at 2 of our sites in the role as a Factory Cleaner. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring all areas given are cleaned to a high standard.
The ideal candidate will be self motivated, be willing and able to work indoors and outdoors. General duties will include keeping the factory floor clean and litter free, emptying bins, keeping external grounds clean, tidy and litter free. Cleaning of the staff canteen and toilet facilities. Carrying out all hygiene tasks required to ensure high standards are met. Brushing, mopping, washing floors to ensure dirt & debris is removed. Overall general housekeeping duties.
Prior experience is not required, however would be beneficial. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and experience/ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums etc would also be beneficial. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently while following instruction is a necessity.
Hours of work are 08.00 to 16.30. Monday to Friday.
Hourly Rate - £10.52 / hour
