This person will provide technical and troubleshooting assistance related to computer hardware and software, mobile devices and other tech tools and products. To manage the services within the company.
The ideal candidate has a working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware and other equipment, Microsoft AX, Computer hardware such as ePOS, Laptops, Printers, scanners mobile phone software
Objectives of this role
- HELP DESK/LEVEL-1 SUPPORT MANAGEMENT
- Creates user email IDs/ activates and deactivates users from system upon request from HR
- Manages user data access rights as per policy and provide first level support to end users
- Evaluates, analyzes and diagnosis and allocates Level II & III / unresolved issues to IT Service Partners appropriate - Redirect problems to correct resource
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
- Investigates causes of incidents and seeks resolution
- Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
- Prepare activity reports
- Inform management of recurring problems
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
- Follow standard help desk procedures
- Administer help desk software
- Administers anti-virus servers
- Monitors and tracks compliance with IT equipment
- Drafts and maintains policy, standards and procedures for the customer service or service desk functions as per directions from Supervisor
- Keeping inventory of all IT equipment and software
- Discusses and understands network requirements for new stores / locations
- Supports in network upgradation requirement estimation and designs development initiatives (when required)
- Deploys network according to approved design and equipment guidelines into allocated slots / areas
- Configures equipment, undertakes commissioning tests
- Performs network health check and maintains network performance
- Monitors and analyzes equipment performance, capacity utilization and identifies performance gaps
- Inspects causes of network system chokes and takes appropriate actions for mitigation
- Provides end to end security services of network services
- Keep up to date with latest technologies
- Stay current with system information, changes and updates

Required skills/ qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in Microsoft AX, Computer hardware such as ePOS, Laptops, Printers, scanners mobile phone software
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent English oral and written
- Problem-solving
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £30,000.00 per year
