Hotel Room Attendant


 

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping preferred but not required. Full training will be provided.

To join a great and small team at our 77 bedroom hotel.

Shift pattern will be five days over seven including weekends. Hours of work are 9am - 2pm, Monday to Saturday and 10am - 3pm on Sundays.

Main duties include:

  • Implement & respect chain's SOP
  • Implement corrective action after guest review, mystery visit and complaint letter
  • Organise linen & welcome product stores
  • Refill housekeeping trolley
  • Participate in the opening and closing of the department
  • Ensure guest safety
  • Ensure correct use and storage of cleaning chemicals
  • Participate in deep cleaning - Execute the deep cleaning plan. Clean in-door / out-door public areas
  • Prepare room for guests’ arrival
  • Clean the room
  • Control room defects
  • Deal with guest requests
  • Log and report all lost property found in rooms after guest departs

Knowledge and skills required:

  • Basic knowledge of hospitality
  • One-year experience in hospitality (preferred)
