About the role
This welcoming Secondary school based in Bebington, Wirral, are looking to appoint a driven and passionate Maths Specialist to teach KS3 - KS4 levels and work as part of an established team. This is a full-time role, starting mid September, and the successful candidate must have experience of working with children up to KS4.
Teaching pre-set Key Stage 3/4 students
No planning, marking or assessing
Working with children aged from 11 through to 16 years old
Managing an average class size in the absence of a teacher
Flexible accommodating days

The school were marked as 'Good' following their last Ofsted inspection, and are a co-educational Secondary School Academy and Sixth Form, with an array of before and after school activities on offer for the children.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Maths Specialist you will:
- Have a minimum of 5 days experience working in sole charge of a group of children in the last 10 years
- Have strong communication skills with the ability to quickly build a good rapport with students and staff
- A passion for working with children, in a calm and authoritative manner
- Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS Check that is on the Update Service
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
